Bowdoinham

These pages come from several different areas. Most came from the Bowdoinham Advertiser edited by Frank Connors. He gathered material from the 1700 and 1800's and reprinted some things and wrote or gathered much historical information when he published his version in the 1970's and 1980's. Other articles came from the Bicentennial Booklet published for the bicentennial in 1962. I hope that you enjoy reading about Bowdoinham and surrounding towns on these pages.

Some of these sites have many links and some only have one. It is our hope to add new links as we become aware of them. Please let us know what you think about this site. There is an e-mail response at the bottom of this page. By the way, we have made no attempt to edit the accepted spellings from earlier editions. The (B) after many articles indicates that it came from the Bicentennial Booklet 1962. Enjoy!

New! These links will show you some of the work the students have been doing in their study of Bowdoinham.
